I hear a lot about how people think they could never be lawyers because that would require saying goodbye to their morals. I would argue against that theory from two ways. One way would be to look at a former lawyer. His name was John Adams. Now, at the beginning of the Revolutionary there was a trial called the Boston Massacre Trial. In this trial John Adams defended British soldiers accused of killing 5 American colonists. Even though he disagreed with what these men had done and the politics, he defended these men because he believed that everyman deserves a good defense. He was a moral man and a lawyer. He did not loose his morals when he became a lawyer. Instead, he used being a lawyer to further morals.
The second way to look at law and morals is to look at the person. We have free choice. It say that a career destroys your morals is akin to saying that being homeschooled makes you antisocial. You have to make a choice. You decide if you're going to hold strong to your morals or go with the flow. It is the same thing for a homeschooler. You choose to step out of your box, or use it to hide. It is your choice. Don't blame the job or your situation. It is you who make the decisiosns not the career you choose.

Sis, I don't think your anti-social whatsoever and I hope some of my sometimes-lacking-of-common-sense-confidence rubs off onto you so you can be social and ride that lazy pony of yours too! I know that was very random but I'm in one of those I want to go ride moods so yeah.
Jane, good morning.
As a lawyer I have found these problems. People have to understand that the law is far from morals. The morals is better than the law.
